Arboricultural Report or Landscape Report as part of a Planning Application

Working alongside homeowners, architects, planning consultants and developers on building development proposals, Lushland is able to:

Trees – determine the trees worthy of retention and those in need of removal as part of development plans.

Landscape – design site specific landscaping for development sites.

Arboricultural (Tree) Report

Our tree reports are written in line with British Standards BS5837: 2012 Trees in Relation to Design, Demolition and Construction. Our comprehensive tree report will give details of the site and what constitutes as adequate protection for those remaining trees both through and beyond the development process. The report contains details of tree: species, size, age, crown spread, physiological condition, management requirements, British Standard gradings, life expectancy, root protection areas and tree protection measures.

Landscape Report

Our landscape reports are written alongside the guidance given in NHBC Standards Chapter 4.2 Building near Trees. Lushland can provide comprehensive landscape reports to accompany new planning applications or to discharge planning conditions attached to permitted development by the local authority.

Each individual scheme will take into consideration the landscape character of the area. Our detailed landscape report will include: a planting plan showing positions of new trees and shrubs; a list of tree and shrub species suitable for inclusion within the desired development scheme; plant sizes and quantities together with a suitable management plan for their successful establishment within the scheme.

We would be happy to discuss terms for producing a Tree Report and/or Landscape Report to accompany your planning application. Contact us for more details.
